A category all its own, Sculptra® (AKA the fountain of youth) is injected similarly to filler but works by actually stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production to gradually replace lost facial volume. This makes Sculptra treatments the perfect approach to restore a youthful appearance with volume replenishment. Typically performed in a series of treatments, full results are seen in around 60-90 days, and can last upwards of 2 years.

Sculptra® is not just another filler. It’s a biostimulatory aesthetic injectable that helps stimulate your own natural collagen production to smooth facial wrinkles and improve skin tightness, revealing a refreshed-looking you. It is an injectable, much like dermal filler, that gradually helps restore your skin foundation over time. Results can last up to 2 years — making it the longest lasting injectable we offer. Sculptra treatment can be used to restore facial volume loss.

What to expect: You’ll meet with one of our licensed nurse injectors for a consultation to develop a treatment plan together, incorporating your identified concerns and your nurse injectors evaluation of your skin. Several factors may affect how many vials you will need to achieve your desired results. A topical numbing agent is applied prior to treatment for comfort.

Downtime: Similar to dermal fillers, it is normal to experience tenderness, mild bruising and/or swelling that can last up to 2 weeks after Sculptra treatment. You can resume your regular skincare and makeup routine the following day. You will be instructed by your nurse injector on how to perform deliberate massage to the treated areas for 5 days following injection.

Results: Expect immediate initial improvement following treatment, that will continue to improve over time. Since the active ingredient in Sculptra that stimulates your body’s own production of collagen takes 2-5 days to dissolve, full results are more gradual than dermal fillers.

​Additional info: Typically, most people require 2-3 Sculptra treatments spaced 1-2 months apart. Full results are usually seen 12 weeks post final injection and can last up to 2 years
